One of the reasons why I love MAC is their recycling program — Back2MAC. In my previous post I mentioned that you should recycle all your old expired or unused MAC makeup containers. I honestly don't think any other cosmetic line offers a recycling program. And if they do, please let me know in my comments. I like supporting brands that give back. Basically to recycle with MAC, all you have to do is save your MAC containers (plastic, glass, or aluminum). If you followed my HOW TO: depot your MAC eye shadows post, those containers count as well. Once you accumulate 6 of any sort, bring it to your local MAC counter & redeem it for a FREE lipstick! Easy as 1,2,3! 6 containers = 1 FREE Lipstick So now that you know this, don’t throw away any of your MAC containers, even if they are super old or still have product in them. Tip: Save your MAC bag, label it recycle & keep it under your sink. You’ll be surprised on how much containers you accumulate after a few months.
