Fifty Shades of Grey (Hair)

So the time has come.. My Grey hairs are coming in! Yikes. I heard this sort of stuff happens when you hit 30. I guess no surprise there since 30 is coming real soon. And perhaps having GREY hair (at my age) isn't so bad after all? I mean, take a look around you, the Fifty Shades of GREY --not the movie— HAIR movement is still trending.

About a year ago — during the Golden Globes — Diane Keaton stood on stage looking so chic in her black Ralph Lauren pant suit & so effortlessly, rocking GREY HAIR. I loved her entire look. I reblogged a photo of her on my tumblr & even tweeted about how amazing she looked for her age. For some reason her entire look (especially the grey hair) stood out for me & I kept her look for future reference & inspiration on how amazing one with grey hair can look. I don't know many older women who naturally rock the grey. Come to think of it, majority of the older women & men in my family turn to hair color to cover their greys. 

There's no denying everyone excluding their mama is rocking the grey hair. While some people are trying to get rid of their greys & prevent it, others are at the salon trying to stay in trend. I personally never thought of going full grey until a few months ago when my "natural" grey hair started to come in! My honey thinks it's cute & says my inner "Storm" is coming out. Lol. I obviously don't have a FULL head of grey hair YET, but as they come in, I'm contemplating my next hair color move. 
Like every other trend, this trend is NOT for everyone. It's a little weird for some people to see women in their early 20's with a full head of grey hair but luckily it's just hair color. And this too shall pass. 

Although I don't plan on going full grey anytime soon I do find the color beautiful when done right. And there are some who can rock it & make the color look absolutely magical.
