How To Revive Dried Out Paint Pots
If there's one I think I hate about cream products, it's the fact that they dry up easily. Leave the jar open for a few hours & you're screwed. Well, not for long.. Here is a little tip on how to revive your paint pot (or other cream like products) without adding any other product to the mix.
All you'll need is a cosmetic spatula (or butter knife, spoon, etc) Just make sure the tool you use is clean and sanitized.

You'll know when your product is dried out because it'll feel dry to the touch as well as start to separate from the walls of its container. As you can tell in my photo above, my paint pot appears to be shrinking. This usually happens when the product is lacking moisture.
But don't worry, this dried out paint pot can easily be fixed by simply mixing it up with your makeup spatula. Yup, that's it, all you need to do is stir your little heart out. Stir the product until you feel like the consistency is back to its normal state. The end product will look a little messy, but I assure you it'll be creamy again & perform as if you just bought it. Another way to help speed up the creamy process is to leave your paint pot by a sunny window for a few mins. Sometimes a little natural heat will help melt the cream before you get to mixing.
